Dell EqualLogic FS Series Firmware v2.0.6740 contains some key maintenance fixes and adds support for the following features:

  • Performance improvements for single stream CIFS and NFS transfers via 10GbE, resulting from NIC (Network Interface Card) updates.
  • Updated BIOS (v1.3.0) and BMC (v1.4) firmware: BIOS and BMC firmware will be automatically upgraded during service pack installation. Controller reboots will take slightly longer while the BIOS and BMC firmware are upgraded.
