New Fling: Application View for vCenter Site Recovery Manager by VMware Labs

VMware Labs released a new Fling called Application View for vCenter Site Recovery Manager. The download is available as 7z (can be openened with 7-zip) and is about 760MB.

Quote taken from the Fling page:

Application View for vCenter Site Recovery Manager shows the application dependencies between virtual machines in a disaster recovery site. This tool is packaged as a standalone virtual appliance, which can be easily set up in an environment which runs vCenter, vCenter Site Recovery Manager, and vCenter Infrastructure Navigator.

vCenter Site Recovery Manager users currently can protect their virtual machines by creating protection groups. This fling identifies dependencies between virtual machines in a protected site and displays the information in a HTML user interface. This view will allow users to easily gauge which virtual machines should be protected to keep a multi-VM application running.
