A small post to announce that patch 1 for Veeam Backup for AWS is available via the updater.

In order to install the update, go to the Support Information page under the Configuration section and select “Check and View Updates“.

This will start the Updater in which you will see the patch as an update (among potential other OS updates).

This update provides several enhancements and bug fixes. After the update, the build version will beĀ 3.1.0.19.

The following is included in this patch:

  • Support for GP3 volumes
  • VPC backup with a copy to the S3 can result in the following error message. Error: 23505: duplicate key value violates unique constraint “cloud_resources_resource_id_key” (Npgsql.PostgresException)
  • VPC backup fails with error: “Cannot have more than 20 resources described”
  • When performing granular VPC restore, certain items may be missing from the wizard
  • Deploying Veeam Backup for AWS using Veeam Backup & Replication may result in the appliance hanging on installing updates
  • Veeam Backup for AWS GUI will now correctly reflect changes made via Veeam Backup & Replication GUI

remarks and suggestion about your blog website:
    – the top banner is so big that you have to scroll in any case.
    – what about a classic top menu?
    – what about a clear download button or section?
