After passing the VCP5 exam, I received the normal e-mail regarding the online transcript to fill in the correct information for sending me the paper certificate. While filling in the information I noticed there was a new option called “VMware Workstation 8”. It seems VMware decided to grant 1 permanent license if you pass :-).
